This small cabinet sized specimen is showy and dramatic piece comprising rather lustrous, gemmy trigonal Calcite crystals measuring up to 1.3 cm across with a pleasing reddish hue due to iron oxide inclusions. The piece is sculptural and aesthetic, and virtually damage-free on the display side. Beautiful color combo and form, in what will go down as some of the great classic Calcites from any Chinese locality.
