Scintillating, brass-yellow, pyrite microcrystals preferentially coat the lustrous, translucent, colorless, nailhead, calcite crystals on this showy and excellent undulating plate from the famous Casapalca Mine of Peru. The sparkle and luster and color contrast of the two species make for a classy and aesthetic combination specimen. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this piece at $250, five or more years ago.
