Item Description

Scintillating, gemmy, teal-blue and teal-green caledonite microcrystals along with pods and stringers of electric-blue linarite cover the undulating surface of the rich galena and quartz ore matrix on this very fine combination from this less well-known and extinct lead-gold mine in Mono County. Very RARE, rich and colorful combination material from the Kay Robertson Collection # 10885 and acquired from Pequa Minerals at the Tucson Show in 1986. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A MUST for the species or locality collector.
