Item Description
The Canyon Diablo meteorite comprises many fragments of the asteriod that impacted at the Barringer Crater about 49,000 years ago. It was discovered in 1891. It is classified as an iron meteorite with a coarse octahedrite structure. 66 grams. Ex Wes Parker Collection.
