Item Description

A 1.5 cm lovely, sharp, lustrous, bright, metallic silvery color, striated, modified cuboctahedral crystal of Carrollite with a few secondary crystals are associated with minor Chalcopyrite on matrix. This piece is from the famous find around 2004, when the finest pieces of the species were discovered. The incredible luster and form of these crystals make them some of the most desirable metallic minerals on the planet. The best specimens of this uncommon Copper, Cobalt, Nickel Sulfide are found only in the Katanga region, and sadly it appears that very few of them are available now on the market. Valued at $600.
