Cassiterite on Goshenite Beryl

Splendent, sharp, jet-black, cassiterite crystals to 2.3 cm are wrapped around two glassy, coloress, goshenite beryl crystals on this striking and excellent combination specimen from Mt. Xuebaoding. The beryl crystals look like rabbit ears poking through a black cap! The cassiterites are pristine, as are the beryl terminations. Only some contacting is noted on the right side of the right beryl crystal. This remains an outstanding cassiterite and goshenite combination specimen from this locale. A great combinaiton piece, seldom available in this quality and form!
