Item Description
A splendent, 2.2 x 2.0 cm, twinned, dark brown cassiterite crystal is jauntily perched on quartz matrix and nicely accented by a single quartz crystal from the well-known Elsmore area tin mines of New South Wales. The cassiterite is partially gemmy, with distinct areas of golden-brown fire. The crystal is nearly pristine, with only an trivial bit of bruising to the top edge.
