Mount Saint-Hilaire is one of the world's most significant localities, and produces many "best in the world" specimens of a lot of minerals. This piece features fairly thick pseudohexagonal crystals of yellow Catapleiite. A classic from this historic locality. The specimen is not undamaged, as it's contacted on the front, but the crystals are thick for the species. It is now difficult to obtain specimens from this locality as collecting has been limited / reduced in recent years, so if you collect minerals from this world famous prolific locality, don't miss out on this attractive thumbnail.
