Sakoany celestines are considered to be amongst the finest in the world and the fine article in the recent issue of the Mineralogical Record confirms this lofty status. Gemmy, ice-blue, celestine crystals to 1.5 cm fill a deep vug in sculptural, CABINET matrix on this very showy and excellent older specimen from Madagascar. Ex Howard Belsky Collection and comes with cloth label with a $175 price on it. NOT cheap prior to Howard's untimely death in 1987.
