Item Description

A very aesthetic small cabinet celestine specimen from this well-known Spanish locale and the Orellana Collection. A dramatically set, 5.2 cm, glassy, gemmy/translucent light gray prism dominates the mounded matrix, that is embedded with of smaller colorless crystals. Interestingly, the crystals on the other side of the piece have a preferential clay coating, adding character. All of the major crystals are pristine. The large crystal has a partially contacted terminatin, but there is no damage, per se. The three larger crystals are doubly terminated. Choice and sculptural material.
