The focal point of this large miniature is the gem-clear, light blue, 3 cm Celestine crystal that rises up out of the matrix. It is very difficult to remove gemmy Celestines like this one come from the large geodes in which they form without damage, so the very small amount of wear on this crystal is a good thing. This specimen is very attractive and highlyunusual for the beauty and sharpness of the totally gem crystal, and that it ended up as a well balanced miniature size. Better in person.
