Celestine in geode (Belsky Coll.)

The interior of this nifty, elongated, "horn-of-plenty" quartz geode is filled with faintly light blue celestine prisms in this excellent and rare specimen from a most uncommon United States locality - Squaw Creek, Wymore, Nebraska. Older material from the Howard Belsky Collection. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
