Item Description

Large, blocky, bladed celestine crystals partially included with off-white barite blades form an impressive specimen from the famous Machow Mine. The very glassy, partially gemmy crystals have classic grayish-blue celestine color, which is actually uncommon from Machow. A visual, 360-degree specimen, that is essentially pristine, with only very modest, base periphery wear. RARE in this combination quality and style. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave lived and worked in Poland for a number of years and made good connections there. Purchased in Warsaw in November, 1999. Valued $500.
