Item Description

Glassy, sharply terminated celestine prisms are artistically scattered on the sulfur-covered matrix plate. The prisms reach 2.6 cm and the striking upright prism is 2.0 cm. Celestine and sulfur are famous from this old Sicily mine that was active from the beginning of the 1800s to 1987 (MINDAT). Classic and excellent combination material from the Allen Dillwith Collection of Texas.
