Item Description

Cerussite from Tsumeb is one of the most classic, and more difficult to obtain species in fine specimens. This piece features a GEM quality, silvery colored sharp, lustrous, cyclic twinned / reticularted crystal group of Cerussite on matrix. A very attractive miniature specimen, and GREAT quality for the material, with such well-formed faces, and amazing gemminess. The photos on this one are not even close to the quality in person, you must hold it in your hands to appreciate the quality. Tsumeb specimens are rising in value by the minute it seems. This piece comes from the collection of Richard A. Kosnar, and his catalogue number can be seen on the reverse side of the specimen. Valued at $750 retail.
