Item Description

Some of the most hard to find yet well-known cerussite specimens from Colorado are those from the Leadville District. This reticulated, prismatic tower is a very good representative cerussite with pearlescent faces, and a soft gray color. An historic specimen. The quality, especially from the standpoint of luster and crystal size, is impressive for the locality. These pieces are rarely seen on the market, and this is a worthwhile little display specimen of this clasic material. Ex DAgostino, Edna Doughty and Richard Hauck Collections. Valued at $200 for quality, rarity, age and locality.
