Item Description

A gorgeous and aesthetic miniature from the world famous Tsumeb Mine. The piece is features wonderful, classic, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, smoky colored "snowflake"-shaped reticulated / twinned Cerussite crystals sitting on very minor matrix. The piece displays beautifully as you can see, and it's in good shape overall, with only a few very minor imperfections. Although many species were found at Tsumeb, some of the big hitters like Cerussite will always stand out as some of the finest examples of the species ever found. This piece has a retail price in the inventory of $1,250. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#9810). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
