Beautiful heart-twin of highly lustrous, cream-colored Cerussite from Morocco. This 3-dimensional, equant, and well-formed twin has very good luster and good color. The striking, sharp, and closed nature of the crystal is a classic that is rarely seen so nicely formed. The adamantine luster of the translucent crystal adds much to the aesthetics, and the few dings along the upper edges does not detract at all from the beauty of this piece. An excellent, and substantial, Touissit Cerussite. This was long in the collection of Gene Meieran, more known for his gem crystal suite today. I taded it from him in around 1998, however, when he deaccessioned many suites he had colelcte dover the previous decades, to focus on the gem crystals.
