Chalcedony stalacitites (NEW Find)

Item Description

A striking, parallel-growth, CABINET cluster of multi-hued and multi-layered, translucent, chalcedony stalactites from a NEW FIND in Java, Indonesia. The preferential coating on the stalactites is dramatic. This cluster is shaped like different sized smokestacks. The broken tips (all are polished) reveal the hollow tubes in the centers, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactites. Colorful and unusual material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens!
