Item Description
Agate is very rare from the well-known Traprock Chimney Rock Quarry of New Jersey, which is more well-known for zeolite species. This is a very showy, translucent, banded agate with pretty shades of yellow and orange. The piece is highlighted by the nifty vug lined with sparkly, yellow, drusy quartz. One side of the piece has been slabbed to highlight the banding. Ex Pettit Collection. Valued $500
