Chalcophyllite with Azurite (ex Belsky Collection)

Item Description

A rare locality piece of an already rare copper arsenate species, with sharp crystals! Lustrous, teal blue, platy, trigonal crystals of Chalcophyllite richly and attractively coover the matrix and are nicely accented with patches of strong blue colored Azurite. There is a small patch featuring an unknown botryoidal green mineral (possibly Malachite, but I think it could be something less common). Very showy and rich, for such a rare piece. Seldom seen on the market from the locale. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
