Complex striated chalcopyrite clusters set in a matrix of euhedral, sharp sphalerite make up this wonderful three dimensional Alimon piece. The color and the luster on the chalcopyrite is first rate - a bright brassy yellow! A large piece with unusual 3-dimensionality, so some damage is expected: the only damage is on the top of the back side, a section in th emiddle (more contact than damage,) and the bottom as can be seen in the pictures. The major clusters on eahc end are superb, with radiating and freestanding crystals to 2 cm. Alone, each end would make a great $500 miniature!
