Item Description

An artistic and very colorful combination specimen featuring two extremely rare silicates, charoite and tinaksite, from their Type Locality in Eastern Siberia. Beautiful, deep lilac charoite hosts numerous, striking, lustrous starbursts of greenish-black, aegirine needles. Scattered about on the front and back are a few small pods of tannish-yellow tinaksite. Rare combination material from this isolated locale, which is in a very complex alkaline massif.
