Item Description

This specimen is from a new discovery in 2019. This large thumbnail / toenail sized specimen featuring INTENSELY colored foliated crystals of rich chrome green Fuchsite (a chromium-bearing Muscovite) sitting atop massive white Quartz matrix. The color honestly is more saturated in person than the photos might indicate, as the semi-metallic quality and intense green hue are very difficult to photograph. If you collect species of Mica, chrome-bearing minerals or specimens for Europe, this is a really cool specimen from a small discovery from a last year.
