In the gem world, fine quality Chrysoberyl doesn't get enough attention, and I feel like it's one of those underappreciated gemstones unless it is the Alexandrite variety. With that said standard Chrysoberyl is a classic historical stone and was originally misidentified as Golden Beryl, as the word "chrysos" means gold in Greek. Well-cut Chrysoberyl makes for gorgeous jewelry because of its bright luster and excellent refraction. Here we have a fantastic 3-stone set of excellent "Round" cut Chrysoberyls with bright greenish-yellow color and eye-clean clarity. The stones are nearly calibrated at almost 6 mm and 5 mm respectively, and were intended to be made into a matching pendant and earring set of jewelry.
