Chrysoberyl from this old locality is some of the very finest known of the species and this is an excellent example. The crystal has high glassy luster, beautiful partial gemminess and rich yellow-green color. The crystal has several very sharp faces and is a partial sixling twin. The back and part of the right side are contacted. The front of pyramidal termination face is pristine. That's part of the contact on the back, that you see.
