Mineral specimens of ANY of the numerous species, that MINDAT lists for this very obscure Pakistan porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit, are EXTREMELY RARE. This super-rare and showy cut and rough set is highlighted by the beautiful and colorful 7.68 carat, cabochon-cut stone with turquoise-blue chrysocolla and contrasting copper. The sawed face of the matrix slab shows chrysocolla surrounding bright dendritic native copper, with some areas coated with matte-finish reddish-brown cuprite. The other side and top of the slab have chrysocolla, copper, cuprite and some malachite. A RARE and desirable rough and cut set from Pakistan.
