Item Description

Beautiful, lustrous, turquoise-blue, chrysocolla botryoids are richly and attractively concentrated on the very lightweight for its size, LARGE CABINET matrix of masssive, matte-gray tenorite (copper oxide). This colorful large specimen is possibly from the Planet Mine in the Buckskin Mountains, which intermittently produced iron, copper, silver, gold and silica from 1863-1937. RARE, old-time material in this quality, size and combination. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection. It weighs only 794 grams or 1.75 pounds. Very light for the size!
