One of the great iconic species from China in Cinnabar. These old classics were around long before the China "boom" started in the 1990s, and have been known for many years to dealers and collectors. This is a good representative specimen featuring sharp, well-formed, lustrous, intense red colored crystals measuring up to 8 mm sitting on rhombic cream colored Dolomite on matrix. VERY little damage to the main crystals. They glow with color even in moderate backlighting.
