Item Description

There are some truly magnificent hydrothermal Quartz deposits on the eastern end of the Bolivian jungle near Santa Cruz. The majority of these desposits produce some superb Amethyst specimens and sometimes Citrine. The color and clarity of these crystals makes for some fantastic cut stones. This stone is a very attractive, natural yellow color, eye clean Citrinte gem with a "Modified Trillion Brilliant" cut. The stone was cut by Brett Kosnar on September 6, 2010, and is a very good sized, excellent quality stone for the material. The color in this stone fantastic partiuclarly because this is naturally occuring NON-heated Citrine, and it is not a treated Brazilian stone, like so many of these Bolivian gems are marketed. This is the real deal. I wanted to maintain the integrity of this stone because it is a true Bolivian Citrine. Enjoy.
