Item Description
An impressive, beautiful large Citrine gem with a wonderful "Emerald" cut. This stone has a lovely golden yellow color and is virtually eye-clean. Citrine may be well known among gem dealers and collectors, but the majority of the material on the market has been heated to enhance or even CREATE the yellow color. For example, most of the commercial Citrine gems you'll find on the market started out as Amethyst and have been heated to turn them yellow. This is was most likely heated to create the color. It's a wonderful big gem that would make a superb center stone for a piece of jewelry, or as an addition to your gemstone collection. Valued $1,046.00
