Item Description
Ripidolite is a relatively rare variety of Clinochlore, a member of the Chlorite group. This old-time cabinet specimen features dark, greenish-gray Ripidolite after a sharp, elongated Almandine garnet dodecahedrons, set in greenstone matrix. This is from the old Michigamme Iron Mine of Michigan. The pseudomoprh reaches an impressive 2.1 cm. Excellent material from this historic mine.
