Item Description

A beautiful association specimen of this classic material from the famous Tilly Foster Mine in New York. This piece features moss green Clinochlore associated with white modified rhombic crystals of Calcite measuring up to 6 mm on matrix. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7629). The piece is accompanied by a label from A. Berger of Mudling, Germany. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
