Clinozoisite

Item Description

This piece came to us from a friend in Pakistan that says it's from a NEW locality near Alchuri, which is an "Alpine"-type locality well-known for it's Epidote and Clinozoisite specimens. I don't know if there will be more of these, but I thought it was interesting and would be a worthwhile pickup for anybody who collects "Alpine"-type minerals or minerals from the Epidote group. This specimen features a sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy, amber and golden color crystal among more opaque Clinozoisite crystal. No matrix.
