Cobaltoan Calcite

I've never seen a piece of Cobaltoan Calcite from Mexico, and even though this beautiful variety has been reported from Mexico, I can't find a listing for this specific material from Concepcion del Oro. We acquired this piece from an old East Coast collection, and it's accompained by a label from John Betts, which was our reference for the locality. If anybody has any additional information about this material, please let us know. The specimen is a layered / banded translucent piece with rich fuschia pink color and semi-botryoidal form. It's good quality regardless of where it's from, and would make for a fine cabochon or even a faceted stone.
