Item Description

The specimens from Bou Azer are some of the finest Cobaltoan Calcites in the world. This is a beautiful large miniature / small cabinet of this classic material featuring glowing purplish-pink crystals of Cobaltoan Calcite measuring up to 8 mm on host rock matrix. It's in very good shape overall with just a few bruises, and it's obviously not complete along periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. I love the electric color of the crystals and some of the smaller ones are fairly gemmy when backlit.
