Item Description

Scintillating, shocking pink, spherical aggregates of cobaltoan calcite crystals dramatically complimented by clusters of tiny primary malachite crystals fully cover this intensely colorful, fabulous plate. This is about the most vibrant pink calcite we have seen from any worldwide locale. A bit of bruising is noted. Old-time material from the 1970s or 80s and very rarely on the market with this amazing combination color and quality. The back has been sawed to enhance the display. This piece was found with others in the storage unit of deceased dealer Gilbert Gauthier, at Tucson of 2012. Valued for scintillating neon color, combination and size, at $500-750. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
