Item Description
A strikingly beautiful vug is lined with gemmy and lustrous, shocking magenta, cobaltoan calcite rhombs. The impressive, large rhomb is 2.0 cm. This is very fine, quality material from older finds at Bou Azzer. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Valued at $400. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
