Shocking, lustrous, neon-pink cobaltoan calcite rhombs richly cover matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from recent finds at the well-known Mashamba West Mine of Zaire. The crystals just have this amazing saturation of color. The crystals reach about 6 mm and are nicely accented by a bit of malachite. The bit of bruising is noted, but is a modest detraction to this striking piece.
