Item Description

Super luster distinguished this fine cluster of sharp colemanite crystals from the evaporite deposits at Death Valley. The large crystal measures about 4 cm x 3 cm. Colemanite is a secondary mineral that forms by alteration of borax and ulexite. The crystals can be pretty dull and amorphous, but these are really shiny and sharp!
