Colemanite (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

Item Description

A wonderful matrix specimen of sharp, translucent, well-formed, white to colorless crystals of Colemanite from California (originally labeled as coming from Death Valley, but I believe it to be from Kern County. Crystals measure up to mm. Good condition all around, despite a few contacted crystals here and there. This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
