Color Shift Garnet

A true favorite of many collectors is the rare color change Garnet. Some of the better known contemporary Garnet come from the Tunduru district in Tanzania. This stone has a nice color shift with a fine orange-red color in incandescent lighting which shifts to a beautiful pinkish-red color in sunlight. Please note that this stone displays a different color in different kinds of lighting, which includes halogen lighting, fluorescent lighting, and incandescent lighting. The photo does not show the color as well as it appears in person, but take my word for it, the color shift if there. This is a superb nearly eye clean, "Oval" cut gem that is worthy of any collection. Don't miss out on this one, it's beautiful in person.
