Color-zoned Fluorite (fluorescent)

Back lighting of this sculptural cluster of large intergrown fluorite cubes reveals the true yellow-green interior color of the cubes and the beautiful variable golden-yellow of the edge phantoms, especially at the striking gemmy corners. The moderately frosted yellow faces of the rest of the translucent cubes obscures the interior green hue. The impressive large cube is 6.3 cm on edge. This is a classic and excellent style of fluorite from this well-known fluorite mine. The periphery wear at the bottom and the gentle bruising of a corner are noted, but are certainly only modest detractions to the subtle, showy and excellent color-zoned fluorite. Purple fluorescence.
