Color-zoned Fluorite with Quartz

Item Description

A showy and excellent specimen of nicely dispersed, intergrown, translucent, "Blanchard-blue", fluorite cubes nicely accented with iron-stained quartz points on fluorite matrix from the famous Blanchard Mine of New Mexico. The cubes have colorful purple edges and reach 1.4 cm. The photos highlight the translucency and color saturations, including the purple edges. All of the many major fluorite cubes are pristine. A bit of periphery wear is noted, as is a bit of bruising in the quartz field, but in the overall context, are modest detractions. Nicely displayable in several orientations. Contemporary classic material. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
