Item Description
Tabular, moderately lustrous, metallic-gray, columbite crsytals to 4.5 cm are randomly embedded in granular quartz in this showy and uncommon specimen from a well-known New Hampshire granite pegmatite opened in 1877 and mined for mica, feldspar and beryl. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 3969 with a 1984 date.
