Conichalcite with Aragonite (classic locale)

Bright green botyroids of conichalcite of various shades richly covers the matrix crust on this showy and excellent example from the historic mines at Laurium. Scattered radial sprays of glassy, colorless to tan, acicular aragonite crystals are a super accent. The slickensides on the back of the piece are an interesting feature. Highly representative and fairly uncommon combination material from this locale.
