Pretty baby-blue connellite crusts richly cover both sides and an end of the tabular matrix on this colorful specimen from an uncommon extinct Corsica, France mine. Connellite is an uncommon hydrated copper sulfate. Seldom available in this richness and quality from this locale. Ex Kay Robertson Collection and comes only with former collection labels. Her label was misplaced in the move. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
