Item Description

A wonderful old specimen from one of the most historic and classic mining districts in the United States. This aesthetic Copper specimen has a wonderful mixture of good crystals and almost "skeletal" hollow areas where I believe Calcite once existed and was later dissolved away. I love the rich antique patina which combined with the beautiful crystal forms, I can see modified dodecahedra and tetrahexahedra creates a very pleasing overall specimen. Michigan Coppers are not nearly as common as they once were, and are becoming more and more difficult to find on the market today. Priced at $800.
