A wonderful and showy specimen of Native Copper from the Rocklands Mine (also known as the Rocklands Group Copper Project), which is a large copper deposit in northwestern Queensland, Australia and wasn't known primarily for producing much in the way of specimens until very recently. This piece is a showy and aesthetic display specimen featuring a blending of both euhedral crystals with defined geometric and free-flowing, almost organic appearance of what arborescent forms, make this one of the more attractive pieces in this size range we've had to offer in the auctions. The piece is completely pristine on all sides, and this is what is referred to as a "floater" with no point of attachment anywhere. We started to see some arborescent / dendritic specimens of Copper trickling out in 2017, but in 2019 there was a major discovery of significant and important CRYSTALLIZED Copper specimens! For the wonderful form/aesthetics, we had this piece priced at $700 in the inventory.
