Item Description

A rare, very fine, old-time, combination specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee. Sharp, spinel-twinned, copper crystals with a nice patina are very aesthetically set in a cluster of glassy calcite rhombs. The "X" pattern of the two crystals, the underlying long spinel-twin and the bit of included malachite at the crest is just fabulous. Classic combination material of this quality is very uncommon and desirable from Bisbee. Undoubtably old material, but no proof. Ex Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection.
